1 month!

I can't believe its been a whole month...

We've had lots of visitors and have enjoyed every minute of it.

My Mom came to visit for a weekend, then we spent a few days "on our own" before Pat's Mom came for 5 days. Pat's Dad came for the weekend along with Uncle Ed, Aunt Angela, Grace and Rollie. We had a great time with everyone. Paddy was able to go swimming with Grace and Rollie, we made a trip to the zoo, and did a lot of playing! Paddy followed Grace everywhere she went.

We spent the next week alone before my Mom and Dad came to visit. My Dad spent Easter weekend with us, and my Mom stayed for a week. We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa! Paddy in particular. We visited the zoo, the park, dyed Easter Eggs, had an Easter Egg hunt and played a lot outside. Paddy had picnics with Grandma quite often and had his own car wash. We spent a lot of time in the yard chasing bunny rabbits.

Paddy has been adjusting well to having a little brother. It helps that Declan spends a lot of time sleeping :-) In addition to being a big brother, his vocabulary has exploded. In the last few weeks he's added so many words its hard to keep track. A few of our favorites are

• Fudders (flowers)
• Bunny
• Pray
• Party
• Grandma
• Paddy

Declan is doing wonderful as well. He eats like a champ and sleeps okay. Some nights we get 5+ hours in a row! Not every night is great, but I suppose that's to be expected with a newborn. He loves to be held and is starting to "wake up" to the world around him. He enjoys watching Paddy run around and has been spending a lot of time outside with us.

We've spent the last week just the 4 of us and we're finally getting into a routine. We're looking forward to more visitors over the next several weeks. Aunt Anne is coming to play, we'll take trip to Milwaukee, and then Sandra will visit us for a few days, and a week later we'll have lots of family in town for Declan's baptism!
