He and I flew to Chicago on Tuesday where we met Grandpa Kevin and Mom Mom at the airport. The travel gods must have been rooting for us as both of our flights were delayed (ours from MN their's from NY) and we still managed to arrive at the same time.
Paddy got to meet Mom Mom for the first time, which was special for him. He has now met all 8 of his living great grandparents.
We celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday at Grandma and Grandpa's house with lots of guests. Grandma, Grandpa, Mom Mom, Grandma Mary, Grandpa Frank, Granny Char, Uncle Patrick, Aunt Kristin, Aidan, Mia, Audrey, Uncle Matt, Aunt Teresa, Diana, Sunny, Mary LaDahl, Peter Paolilli, and Krister. Dave and Gael Romoser stopped by for appetizers as well. It was a full house.
We flew back to St Paul on Friday where Aunt Anne and Todd picked us up at the airport. Pat was on call and got called in to work. Saturday Papa and Nema joined us and we celebrated Thanksgiving again -this time with a deep fried turkey. Paddy is quite the party goer.
Our little man is now battling his first cold, but handling it like a trooper. He's not a fan of the nose suction thing, but I have to be honest, neither am I.
Our travels appear to be done for a bit. Our next scheduled excursion is to Florida in February, but hopefully we'll be making a trip to Milwaukee sometime before then to meet Paddy's new cousin when he or she arrives.
