Paddy has had quite a language explosion over the past week or so. Its been fun to hear him introduce new words beyond CLOCK!!!
A couple of our favorites
Mommy (FINALLY!!)
Fook (fork - this one makes us laugh everytime he says it. More fook, more fook)
Walk
Knee
Snack
Eat
Truck
Buddy
Side (outside)
Shoe
Sock
Coat
Car
He is fascinated with shoes and socks. If I'm not wearing socks, he walks up, touches me feet and says "where sock". When he wants to go outside, he brings us our shoes and bangs on our feet with them until we put them on. He has started trying to put his own shoes on, which is very comical. Spacial relationships are not his strong suit. He usually tries to put them on backwards - but he sure gives it a good try.
We talk about the baby coming as much as possible. I'm not sure he gets it yet. If we ask him were the baby is, he'll point to my belly. He gently pats my tummy if we ask him how he's going to be with the baby - which is his way of expressing gentle. That being said, if he so much as sees me hold another child, he gets very angry. Could be an interesting transition.

For those wondering what Paddy's reaction might be to having to share mom and dad....check out the Whole Puzzle blog for a pix of Paddy when Mommy was holding another baby....hopefully he will be less upset when the baby is actually a sibling
Love the new words!
