Keeping secrets from best friends is impossible. Everyone has a best friend somewhere in this world. The first person you call when you have great news or bad news. I had to keep a secret for 11 days. I stopped answering my cell phone when she called. I'm nice.
I finally got to tell Sandra and Chad our great news on Friday over drinks at the Chatterbox. Granted, my drink was a sparkling raspberry lemonade, but it was drinks none the less. I love surprises, so I couldn't just come out and tell her. Instead, when the server asked for drink orders, I told him I was drinking for 2 and would have a lemonade. That seemed to get the story across :-)
